Peel and stick

How cool is this. Board of your plain walls? Want to add some pizzazz to a room but cant be bothered with the hassle of painting or wallpaper? Well if you are I have found the answer their cool peel and stick patterns from blik. There are so many options to choose from. The great thing is they are removable! I loved all the patterns but the paisley and the iron vine are two of my favorites.

Creative…I love it!

I wish I thought of it. Very smart ad campaign for Wrigley’s extra smile. They had the ads put on the bottom of starbucks coffee cups. Its great to see fresh ideas like this, I just wish ad agencies here in Kuwait start to take risks instead of always playing it safe.

Pret-A-Souk

I recently moved in to a gorgeous house here in Kuwait and I love going around all the different furniture and accessories stores. I have been looking for some inspired Arabic home accessorize and paintings created by local designers and for some reason cant find any stores that have them, maybe I’m just looking in the wrong places, so I decided to rely on my good friend google who never lets me down. I found this online store called Pret-a-Souk. Pret-a-souk.com is a Kuwaiti online store. The store features products made by some talented Kuwaiti designers from fashion to home accessorize. I loved the idea of shining light on our talented society but just thought that the website didn’t do the designs any justice. The website is poorly designed. On the other hand I found these gorgeous side tables called Red mashrabia that I think will go great in my living room. I can’t wait to receive them , They were designed by Hosam Al-Reshaid. I’m going to research about him and see what I can come up with, I might find some more of his designs. I’ll keep you updated ☺

My first post !

After debating a lot with my self I finally decided to go a head and enter the world of blogging.
So now a little a bout me. I’m a 25 year old graphic designer, married to the love of my life ,recently moved back home after 8 years living abroad! I already miss being away ☹ Im so board that its driving me crazy, so decided to start up a blog to keep me busy . Im in love with everything and anything to do with art and design and I think that’s what I’ll be talking about most so keep passing by now and then, something might catch your eye ;)
